Vageesh Nonavinakere

Founder – Operations &

Technical Head

Vageesh is the key promoter of this concept. He is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of progressive experience at international level in the civil engineering field including utility, local government, consulting, contracting and construction industry. He has in-depth knowledge and hands on experience that has contributed and managed numerous multi-million dollar projects around the globe. During the period he is consistently sharing his knowledge and expertise from technical to management level in the various leading multinational organization based in Germany, Belgium, New Zealand, Australia and India. Over the last 20 years Vageesh has been focussed on water and environmental management in Australia and New Zealand.

He has a B.E. degree in Civil Engineering from Bangalore University, India and an International MBA from the University of Waikato, Hamilton, New Zealand. Vageesh has held senior management and leadership positions in contracting, utility and council organizations in Australia, New Zealand and Africa.

Girish Hiremath

Director &

Marketing Head

Girish is an experienced professional with over 20 years of experience in business development and marketing across India. He held senior management and leadership roles with leading companies in India such as Tomi Zone (NZ based) Tata, Reliance and BPL. Lately, he has been working as a business consultant in an advisory role. He would bring in a lot of his marketing and organizational development skills to this venture.

 

Girish holds B.Com and MBA degrees. He would be closely working with Vageesh on developing strategies for India operations and assist in strategic marketing, business development and managing business operations.

Roy Ames

R&D – Product development – 

Innovation

Roy is the inventor of the process used in the domestic treatment systems. He has been involved in a technical and management capacity ever since that time. He has over 40 years of experience in the industry.

Prior to this Roy was CEO of Dowmus Resource Recovery producing waste treatment systems. He was Engineering and Technology Manager of Queensland Alumina Ltd with responsibility for 80 professional engineers covering areas from Research and Development through to Capital Project implementation. Prior to this he worked for CSR Sugar Mills as Principal Technologist responsible for milling process technology. He also led the Research and Development program including the development of new business opportunities and the invention of a new type of vacuum pan.

Roy is a Past Chairman of the Institution of Chemical Engineers in Australia and has written and presented a number of technical papers in the fields of sugar and waste water treatment.

Roy is the brain behind in developing these treatment systems. He will be closely associated with this venture in monitoring systems, quality, processes and innovation. He would be responsible for R & D, Innovation and product development.

Thippeswamy

Director – Advisory

Worked in BWSSB for 34.5 years & retired as Chief engineer (super time). After retirement working as free- lance consultant for both public and private institutions from last 15 years including national and international companies. 

During my carrier in BWSSB apart from working in O&M of water and sewerage systems, introduced highly innovative projects in waste water reuse, ICT in water and waste water sector such as SCADA, TELEMETRY, GIS, Application of IT in all sections.

Responsible for first inter- national funding to BWSSB from OECF( Oversea economic cooperation fund) which is renamed as JICA now for implementing CWSS1V phase I  for Rs 1542 crores and later CWSS1V phase ii for Rs 3600 crores to bring 270MLD and 500 MLD water respectively from river Cauvery.

Responsible for preparation of Master plan for water, sewage , storm water & solid waste for next 25 years(2025)  with the Bilateral funding from Australia ie AUSAID where 90%of funds from Australia &rest 10% by BWSSB in the form of manpower and accommodation . Worked as project Director for 2.5 years in preparation 35 documents

Responsible for obtaining funds from NRCP (national river conservation project) of Rs60.0 crores grants for interception & diversion, rehabilitation and improving sewerage system in the city. Worked for implementing those projects.
